Simon Bolivar and Latin Americans Revolutions
Why ia Simon Bolivar famous, and why is his named after a country- Bolivar helped Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Bolva, and Peru to the indepandance for Veneszuela in1821. He is known as the "liberator of Soouth America".
Who did he help defeat and what was he fighting for-he was fighting for the Latin American's. They wanted freedom, liberty, equality deal that the Americans and French fought for. And he wanted the same (revolution and independance).
I think when he was in Spain in1804 with his totur and friend, Sumon Rodriquez. He had lost his respect for Napoleon, which he says betrayed the repubilican ideals. Then when Bolvar was in Italy he made that famous vow atop Mount Aventin of Rome to never rest until America was Free.

Robespierre and The Reigen of Terror
why did the Reign of Terror happen/and max robespierre's inolvement in it-period of violence that occurredd in months after the french revolution. Executions of "enemies of the revolution". Many were killed 20,000 to 40,000. The Enlightenment thinkers brought to life the ideas of freedom, and equality. The middle class and the poor had more power than before. The King, Queen lost power, those that gained power didnt always use it well. The revolution would turn into the Reign of Terror. Committee of Public Safety was created (Apr. 6, 1793) to preserve the reforms of the french revolutions. Robespierre became the dominant member. Their aim was to raise new armies, and to assure food supplies for the armies and cities. Robesierre's took control of the goverenment, and ruled france [like a dictator]. His rule was called the Reign of Terror. He killed Louis XVI , and the queen Marie Antoinette. "On her way across the guillotine, as she accidentally stepped on her executioners foot, she apologized; "Monsieur ... I beg your pardon. I did not do it on purpose". Those were her last words." People grew tired of Robespierre cutting peoples head off. People who worked in the government did not feel safe, they thought their head might be the next to go. So people organized a plan against Robespierre. He was arrested and his head was cut off. The Reign of Terror was over. France settled down with a government that they trusted. There was finally some stability.

what are the right's that jefferson is talking about-all men are created equa. Governments are instituted among Men. Heliocentricsm is a theory that says the sun is the at the center of the solar system. It was said distinction between the solar system was not clear until the modern times. Aristarchus had mentioned that the Earth moved around the sun. But many people did not speak afraid that if they did, because of blasphamy and the church that it may have lead to execution. Geocentricsm also had a theory but the oppisite of heliocentricsm, earth was center to be reloved around. It wasnt until about the 16th century that
